Queensland Corrective Services is expanding custodial capacity through the Townsville Correctional Precinct expansion and a modular, rapid-build program across several sites. NDREK. leads project direction across planning, design and delivery.
CHALLENGE
Adding capacity at pace across several operating correctional sites, while keeping every project aligned with government objectives, cultural inclusion policy and the operational risk thresholds of live custodial environments.
APPROACH
As the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, NDREK. provides strategic oversight and the interface with state-level stakeholders, directs project planning and development, and leads the reviews, reporting and project management documentation that keep cost, time, client needs and quality in view.
OUTCOME
In delivery. The program is governed through regular reporting to executive and state stakeholders, with modular construction a core part of how new capacity is added across sites.
