Planning and delivery of the ground-up Block 6 extension at Forensic and Scientific Services, the state's centre for forensic, public health and scientific testing.
CHALLENGE
Building next to sensitive scientific and forensic operations, where access, cleanliness and continuity of testing services all had to be protected.
APPROACH
NDREK. managed client and contractor relationships, the budget and documentation, and prepared risk mitigation plans to protect the facility's operations during construction.
OUTCOME
Successful delivery built strong client trust, which led directly to Queensland Health's next award, the Radiation and Health Unit facility.
